There has been many credible reports over the past year that points to the same conclusion.
Besides, ISIS is using U.S. weaponry and equipment. The claim is they took it from the Iraq military. One has to ask how they have keep supplied with ammo and parts to keep their war machine going. Obviously the supplies can only come from one place ... the US military.
Oh yea we fund them then we bomb them so we can blow up our own equipment. All those Jihadists and Bathists just love fighting for the US. Our end goal is to keep the Middle East destabilized and keep our Allies (KSA, Turkey) quarreling with our enemies (Iran, Syria) - yes a perfect circle of deluded logic.

History tells us we have funded, trained and armed Islamic militants to do our dirty work. Read up on how Osama Bin-Laden worked for the CIA to train Mujahideen Islamic militant rebels in Afghanistan to fight the Soviets in the Soviet-Afghan war. Or read about the Iran–Contra affair where we funded, armed and trained the Contras in Nicaragua to topple the government (regime change).
History tells us this type of warfare has been going on for a very long time. Why would we think it is not happening now?
