Duncan Hunter, Ron Paul, and Tom Tancredo all voted against the stimulus package.

Quote:
The bill also includes $500 million in foreclosure mitigation counseling, secured by Rep. James P. Moran Jr. (D-Va.), as well as measures to allow the Federal Housing Administration and the federally backed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac mortgage consolidators to insure larger mortgages.
Here's the bailout. And it's just the beginning.

So Add another $146 BILLION to the already projected $250 BILLION Deficit for 2008.

$396 BILLION DEFICIT PROJECTED if spending and revenue stay at current levels with no inflation. Right. Like that's going to happen.

If Congress can't even accurately predict the budget from year to year, what makes you think they can accurately predict a deficit?

Yep. And a couple that should have been better Presidential contenders. I didn't agree with Tancredo on much, but he was spot on with spending and immigration. Unfortunately, he supports the war without end.

This "stimulus package" is a joke. If they really want to unleash the economy and let it soar, the only good thing government/politicians/bureaucrats can do is GET OUT of the way!!!
