It is doubtful Trump will ever be President not to mention the GOP candidate. I am sure Europe has their own share of Egotistical Big Mouths that promise more than they can deliver.

It doesn't sound like they would. I haven't heard Trump talk about any cuts in write offs or any increase in capital gains taxes.

The Trump Tax Plan Is Revenue Neutral

The Trump tax cuts are fully paid for by:

1: Reducing or eliminating most deductions and loopholes available to the very rich.

2: A one-time deemed repatriation of corporate cash held overseas at a significantly discounted 10% tax rate, followed by an end to the deferral of taxes on corporate income earned abroad.

3: Reducing or eliminating corporate loopholes that cater to special interests, as well as deductions made unnecessary or redundant by the new lower tax rate on corporations and business income. We will also phase in a reasonable cap on the deductibility of business interest expenses.

See how that works?

It's called "tu quoque."

My thoughts are someone should know how to form complete sentences before they call others idiots and "retarded".

He/she probably speaks a different language.

I know some French and German, but don't expect me to say things perfectly in those languages.

Things work a bit differently in Europe. There is no moderate right or even just a plain old right, for example. There is only a far right. There is a far left, a left, a moderate left and even some who are considered just plain moderate(in some countries) but then the very next step after that is the far right. And getting that label is a kiss of death as far as mainstream acceptability is concerned. Any sort of maverick style candidate would just get the far right label and would cease to be a threat. Maybe a big story would be made about how a far right candidate could manage to get 5% of the vote but he'd never really be a big threat.

Well, in some European countries they have parliamentary systems with proportionate representation (though not all). This does allow parties that are relatively extreme to get legislative seats. However, their ideological positions would tend to limit their ability to form a government, unless they were in alliances with several parties, which is not uncommon (this is the case in Israel). Such conditions however, do make for unstable ruling coalitions, which can dissolve very quickly (also the case in Israel).

That said, I'd think that the far right party with the most potential political clout may be France's National Front, led by Martine Le Pen. We'll see how that plays out.
