Sounds Fishy to me... I bet there's a love triangle involved and/or a large life insurance policy.

This ^^ ... and, the rule in this house is locate spouse before firing! There are only two of us here, so it's easy figure out, especially in the middle of the night. If his side of the bed is empty and I hear a noise, that's not the time to fire indiscriminately.

Probably should not pull the trigger on a shotgun in the dark without any prior warning, especially if there is an occupant of the house unaccounted for. Besides why would you shoot anyone if s/he has not even attempted to break in yet? Doesn't add up, I'd say this is suspicious.

I am all for the natural gun control measures, such as this.

Yes we need more guns, so many responsible owners.

Quote:
ROCK HILL, S.C.- Police say a 2-year-old South Carolina boy found a gun in the car he was riding in and shot his grandmother in the back.
Authorities were trying to determine Monday whether to file charges against the woman’s sister, who owns the gun.
Rock Hill police Capt. Mark Bollinger said the 40-year-old woman is expected to survive. She and the child were riding in her sister’s car on Sunday afternoon when the boy found a .357 revolver in the pouch on the back of the front seat and fired the weapon.
Bollinger says the injured woman’s sister owns the revolver
