Concealed weapons holder successfully defends himself and home from 2 thugs. My only concern is lack of range time, he left one alive.

I live in the Cleveland area and missed this story. At any rate, good for the homeowner for defending his property. It's too bad that these two idiots had to waste their lives by robbing hard working people.

He has every right to defend his property. I do not condone celebrating anyone's death OP, I think it is in poor taste.

Atleast somebody can find the humor in it. Nobody wants to have to kill somebody. I'm sure he will be traumatized for the rest of his life, even though he didn't do anything wrong.

It's a bloody depressing situation all around.

I wonder if any of the posters who believe that gun owners are stupid and paranoid will chime in on this one?

Not a celebration of death, but of victory. Sad to see someone had to die, but it is the risk one takes when they decide to be a criminal.

Victory? Tell me, who exactly "won" in this situation? Certainly not the guy who died, and not the guy who got wounded, and definitely not the guy that was sadly forced so kill somebody.

That's gonna mess with your head.

Would you rather the crook killing the homeowner?

I condone and celebrate the killing and removing from society of a piece of trash who preys on the week and defenseless.

If the crook had know the homeowner was armed he would NOT have gone in probably would have broken into someone else's house. Maybe killing them.
