They forgot to include the beltway snipers.

Looks like they were using creative accounting to come up with these numbers, shocking. Several were anti government, not white supremacist, yet they were counted as such. Another propaganda piece.

As a TEA Party person, I don't want to spend billions on wars overseas. I don't want to be housing troops in places like Saudi Arabia, Germany, Japan or Korea. If we stayed out of the affairs of other nations, we would save both blood and dollars. Let's keep our carrier groups, our subs and our long range bombers and when anyone directly threatens us, attacks us or participates in an attack on us, we fire off cruise missiles into the government buildings as well as the homes of their leaders.

We are essentially a combination of Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Jean Claude Van Dam and Arnold Swoeiuoasuefg9oheriorjh. We don't need to go around checking out what everyone else is doing and putting our noses into their business. All we need to do is stay in shape and ready so that if they ever come to our house to start trouble, we beat the snot out of them so bad that they won't ever come near our yard. Plus, every other jerk in the neighborhood will realize they don't want a piece of us. We don't need to go to their homes and monitor them and tell them what they are going to eat as we buy their groceries and fill up their cars to control them.

When we knew the leaders of Afghanistan were protecting bin Laden, we should have never invaded. We should have fired the missiles (conventional not nukes) and made a few dozen parking lots in Kabul. Then we ask again and say they'll end up with a few dozen more parking lots. If they refuse, we make a few dozen more parking lots and say we are now even. If 10,000 of their citizens die as a result, well, their relatives can address that issue with their government and ask why bin Laden was more important to them.

However, if we aren't going around trying to make the rest of the world what we feel it should be and didn't have the appearance of an imperial nation, we probably won't have to even worry much about people coming after us.

More people die from heart attacks than lung cancer, so please don't stop smoking.

The article is a joke, but watch out here. Yes, Americans are more of a threat to our own country than outsiders. That part I would say is true. Homegrown terrorists are a huge problem. Look at all the mass shootings. What about McVeigh with his Oklahoma massacre? I wouldn't gleefully disregard our own people as terrorists so easily. Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev was an American citizen with his wonderfully selfish act at the Boston Marathon. I will bet anything there will be more homegrown murders in the US than from the outside. These college shootings are certainly selfish terrorists. Not sure what can be done, but the media is to blame for the most of them IMHO. They focus on them for profit and give them the attention they always wanted. They were just nobody selfish pigs before the media shows all about them after they kill tons of people.

Anyway, enjoy the beautiful day!

The New York Times reported back in June that since Sept. 11, 2001, almost twice as many people have died at the hands of white supremacists and other non-Muslim extremists than by radical Muslims. Using data compiled by New America, a Washington Research center, a study found that 48 people have been killed by extremists who are not Muslim—including the mass killings in Charleston, S.C.—compared to the 26 by self-proclaimed jihadists.
Right - because the US has, so far, been successful in keeping tabs on Jihadists and keeping out Jihadists. And that has involved a lot of work. So... there's been less deaths resulting from Jihadists. Do you doubt for one second if the government sat back and let alone that the deaths from a whole huge ideology bent on killing Americans and non-believers of its ideology in general would have caused less deaths here than something which has only been a fringe terrorist movement for the past two decades? The FBI also keeps plenty of tabs on white supremacists, and they should, but hasn't been as successful with the lone wolves. Any sane person would want the agencies to spend their resources where they can be most effective. Waste of time spying on self-professed Buddhists for a start.

I guess you thought that headline and fact was as profound as the journalist who wrote it. Wow, you helped us see the light.

The level of intellectual dishonesty by the left in this country is only matched by the level of intellectual dishonesty from the right. Forget the bull**** left/right binary system crap, forget the bull**** of some ideologies being morally privileged because you put the label "Religion" on them. Use your goddam common sense.

Even if one assumed (falsely) that all murders committed by whites in the USA were committed by Confederate waving 'White Supremacists,' they would have to multiply their kill rate 12 fold to equal the murder rate of black in the USA.

I think these stats sum it up best:

American deaths in terrorism vs. gun violence - CNN.com

Terrorism deaths in America vs American gun crimes deaths in America.

Includes 9/11, Boston marathon, abortion clinic target, etc under "terrorism."

~3k terrorism : ~406k Other USA killings since 2001.

>100xs more. But why is it in the news so much and everyday gun deaths go unnoticed? Are we trying for 1,000xs more? Will it be "newsworthy" then??

F the klan, we don't need them anymore to kill ourselves!

And that is exactly the wrong thing for all concerned.

We should all strive to be intolerant of predators, for it is unmerciful to their next victim to do otherwise. But we should not be fooled into over reaction, nor false accusations, based on “plural hatred.”

Remember, tolerance of predators, just because they're part of one's own subgroup, is to embrace evil and its consequences. Predators, individually, are the bane of mankind.
