We don't need their oil just like we don't need Saudi oil anymore. We extract more and produce more than any other nation in the world. It is the reason why oil prices are falling and Russia, the Middle East and Venezuela are all in such an economic downturn. This new oil reserve just means that Israel won't need to purchase oil anymore from the US.

Yep, we get twice as much oil from Canada as we do from Saudi Arabia. Wish we dropped those ****ers. We get more oil from Venezuela than we do from Iraq (No War For Oil!!!! They all cried).
Guys, I think that you really don't understand the matter of the military aid to Israel. It's not a favor that US doing for Israel. It's part of the Camp David agreement. Israel gave to Egypt Sinay peninsula, USA got Egypt (and the strategic Suez canal) under its influence, USA giving military aid to Israel and Egypt.
Really simple.

Yes. And the military aid is used to purchase US-made equipment from US manufacturers and US workers.

You'll throw that in on any thread you can, won't you?
This "oil reserves found in Israel" thread is ridiculous. The economic feasibility of extracting it is in doubt. And even if it is feasible, the amount of oil would barely meet just Israel's needs (which is a small amount because Israel uses mostly natural gas).
So the thread is just being abused by DeForrest and his friends to take their very tiresome shots at Israel. Same garbage over and over again.
