"I think this debate was Fantastic. It was HUUUUUGE. People say I'm a millionaire, but I'm actually a billionaire ...". signed Donald Trump.
Never mind ... Hillary won this thing, hands down. The woman is ready ...

Listening to Van Jones give political commentary is comedy gold.

That is one clueless individual.....not shocking he was a "special" advisor to Obama.

The right-wing fringe lost tonight.

The competency of the Democrats blows the GOP Clown Car clean out of the water.

I really liked Webb when he was in the senate but tonight he didn't seem like the same guy. I can't think of a good reason to vote for O'Malley or Chafee.

Sadly I think you're spot on. Since my college days, it became obvious to me the entire game is self serving as money rules the game in the end, not what's best for the nation/people despite all the rhetoric that many people believe as fact on this forum when we have one of these scripted reality "debates". While I can understand some younger/idealistic people buying into all the drivel, I have a feeling most on this forum are over 30 with many older and one would think they'd know better by now but I think you're on to something with your belief. I tend to think the herd has turned more towards insanity than stupidity, though perhaps a little of both because they largely keep voting for 1 of 2 sides of the same bought and sold coin more or less and expecting such a person to do what's best for the people/the nation.

As the overused cliche says....."insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result." seems most appropriate here.

While the herd goes on about "who won" this/that debate, perhaps we should talk more about getting the American people/the nation to win for once? Just maybe? Crazy thinking I know to think in such terms.

None of the above. N/A. Our dog or any dog for that matter would be a welcome change.

No tomatoes Lyndarn, I promise.

I come from the place of no matter how civilized the debate/talk appears on the surface, the words can't be trusted. I myself and many people in our country have lost faith in the script that's passed off year after year. I say this from watching politicians tell lie after lie, say they are going to do this and do that, etc. It's a game of answering to money. This "Debate" thing is no different than going to watching a movie in my view....it's all a script and can't be believed or trusted. By watching threads like this, it's sad to me that many people still buy into it all and take it all as fact. Personally, I trust NO politician, no matter the political stripe. I'm actually a very optimistic individual in life but I'm a very pessimistic person when it comes to politics and became that way from watching what politicians do, not what they say. I think some people need to learn this very important distinction but I'm afraid many never will for all one has to do is look at who's elected year after year. The herd is truly lost in this country.

Sanders did he gave the most substance and facts

Clinton Circled around many questions and flip flopped a few times
3 times she said vote for me I am a woman her new campaign slogan is "vote for me I have a VJJay"
Clinton would be decent on foreign policy but god awful on economic policy
She sounds like a hardcore closet republican by some of the answers she gave
You know since she is a 1% she will do nothing to go after wall street and make the 1% pay more in taxes she is all talk

O Malley 2nd even though he is kinda boring to listen to

~sigh~ His name is "O'Malley." These little differences make a huge difference.

Agreed. They separated themselves from the pack and now it is a race. I don't trust Clinton one iota but she did herself well. Sanders tells it like it is and has my votes. It will be interesting to see how Democrats react to his message.

Don't worry, they'll be calling him "0'Malley" before long.
