Medicaid is the same pre and post obamacare, there's just 9 million more people on it now vs before. Doctors who accept Medicaid are still not easy to find.

LOL. You missed the point...And who pays for Medicaid?

Here's my actual response to you, specifically:

This country has been doing the latter....

If you want universal healthcare, then you need to be addressing it at the State level.

As I recall, Bernie Sanders' Vermont tried and failed.
Mitt Romney offered and implemented an alternative in his state.... I wonder why Republicans haven't adopted a Romney style approach.....

That's right, we sure would.

Seems like it was working before Obamacare and still have to with it.

Why mess up 300 million insured Americans for 30 million uninsured?
I guess that is a matter of opinion. It's not like healthcare reform is a recent issue....

Hey if you think the system pre-ACA was efficient and productive, then you're entitled to that opinion.

I am kind of shell shocked right now. For 2016, my company has gone from really superb health insurance at an affordable cost to us, to hideously more expensive insurance with significantly less coverage and enormous out of pocket expenses. My insurance costs are going up four fold and copays going up by about 200% for inferior coverage. Out of pocket expenses have more than tripled, and prescription prices are priced extremely higher.

Thanks for nothing, Obamacare. We are furious.

Because going to the doctor means calling and scheduling a visit and/or waiting for the office to open. But going to the ER gets you seen now. When it's all "free" for the patient, people don't worry about cost. Medicaid patients use the ER more than any other group, insured or uninsured. This data was available when Obama was pushing Obamacare, but he continuously lied about it. Looks like you fell for his lies.

Everyone who voted for him in 2012 is getting their just desserts. There was plenty of info about what was coming. Anyone who voted for him deserves to feel the pain of their decision. Sadly the rest of us as getting dragged along for the pain.
