So, is Obama going to call out members from his own party for being "shameful" in not supporting him now?
Quote:
But as the debate intensifies, higher-ranking Democrats appear slightly more concerned than their rank-and-file counterparts and liberal supporters about letting Syrian refugees into America. And their public comments indicate they're at least leaving the door open to pausing it too.
It's hypocritical that the Democrats are accusing the Republicans of being immoral when some of their top and lower members have expressed concern with letting the Syrian refugees in. It appears there's going to be broad Democrat support of the Republican led bill that would suspend the resettlement.
CNN just showed a muslim refugee that was brought into the USA (OHIO) by obama. Him and his wife do not speak english, he has 3 kids and his wife is pregnant with their 4th child.
Who's going to pay for their 4th kid? hmm.........
He currently works blowing leaves. They live in a free house. They said they are thankful.
What about our homeless veterans tho? Im sure one of them could have used that house....
Gee, we're not shameful when we send our sons and daughters to their countries and fight their fight for them. We're not shameful when we're sending billions around the world in foreign aid. But when we watch the spread of fanatical extremists who sneak through borders and exploit opportunities to perpetrate their terror, and we want to throw a modicum of caution, we're shameful. It's actually shameful our POTUS is critical of the concerns of it's citizens and equally shameful his opponents use it for political attack.
First off we weren't fighting th elast 2 wars for anyone but ourselves, our irrational fear caused us to invade a country that did absolutuely nothing to us. Did you happen to notice an increase in extremeists and terror attacks with our intervention in the ME.
The trillions of dollars we spent on our military could have been put to good use nation building in Central America rather than a wasted effort in a never ending war.
So now he feels obligated to do something and it's the American people who get to be put at risk for his blunders.
In retrospect, I agree that the US needed to take decisive action in Syria about two years ago, either more forcefully against the Assad regime, or against extremist forces that infiltrated the moderate rebels fighting against the Assad regime. The US ended up doing very little, and that had just made things unbelievably complex and dangerous in the area.
The problem is that whatever Obama had decided, the Republicans would disagree and go after him about it. On foreign policy, that is not how it should be.
Can you find a link to that, I just searched the CNN website and can't find it.
