No, not in the Mayberry/Hooterville I live in (rural Western PA). Demographics are still pretty much the same for the past 30 years. Other than a loss of population, and a Wal-Mart super center opening outside of town, it could be the late 70's.
When I go back home to the Reading area (Berks County, PA), where I was raised, however, THAT is a different story. It's gone from predominantly Pennsylvania Dutch to Spanish. You can't tell what country you're in when you go to the city of Reading. And with the escalating crime rate, we avoid it as much as possible when we visit.
Typical leftist response to a real phenomenon. If America was founded/created by white European Christians and built into what it is today by predominately those same people, I find it amusing the PC types want to diminish that.
What make countries/cultures/societies unique is their foundation.
Would France still seem French if it was full of a bunch of Chinese, with few original French people left?

Fair enough. Here's the thing: a lot of us white Americans--myself for instance--like the newcomers.
Terrorists and gangsters excepted, I like foreigners much more than I like average other white Americans. That puts your type in a bit of a pickle, doesn't it?
Rest assured the (D) party has changed significantly since the JFK days, even the Slick Willie days of the 90's. If he tried to run on the same platform, he wouldn't stand a chance now that the leftists have taken control of the party.
The media tries to portray (R's) as having gone far to the right, but it is a fallacy. The (R's) are merely trying to push back against how far left the liberals like Obama & Hillary have taken us. That is not going hard right, rather it is trying to regain the ground lost to the leftists/socialists/communists.
