For every new gun law, we have an equally restrictive abortion law.

To paraphrase a Facebook posting going around at Thanksgiving, I'd be glad if buying a gun was subjected to the same laws women/couples needing an abortion are subject to starting with a 48 hours wait period, getting parental permission if you're under age, and getting a signed note from a doctor that you are of sound mind and understand the dangers and responsibilities involved in owning a gun. Then we could shut down all but one gun shop in each state and make people travel long distances to buy a gun. When you get to the gun shop you should be made to go through a hostile crowd of people calling you a murderer for wanting your legal right to own a gun, begging you not to buy that gun and holding up signs with pictures of people killed by guns. It makes more sense to enact these laws for buying a gun than it does for get an abortion because no one woman's abortion has ever killed dozens of people in a matter of seconds and we can't say the same about gun hoarders, can we.

It has been proposed but I do not think you will support it

Missouri Dem’s bill puts gun sales under same rules as abortions: 72-hour wait and medical evaluation

Yes, because purchasing a firrarm and ending a human life are one in the same.

Only if you can find good homes for the 70,000 children that will be dumped on society each year.

Yes imagine protestors picketing gun shops and giving out their addresses and murdering their employees.

>>>>>>> Unless you consider the uncounted persons generations upon generations that may have lived and been born from them had that person been born. Just gettin' philosophical, is all.
