The cop is guilty of 1st and 2nd-degree assault. The victim was doing nothing wrong at all. Just sitting in a car. Justice at last, due to the presence of a cell phone. I can't imagine how many times this has happened and wasn't caught on tape.

Glad nobody was hurt and the cop was found guilty. A couple of year in jail should give him time to think about his actions.

Even the cop's lawyer admitted so:

In his opening statement, Santiago's attorney said, "I don't believe my client is a good police officer or demonstrated good police work, but I also don't believe he is a criminal."

At the time of the confrontation, Santiago had two friends from New Jersey riding with him in his police car, although he was not authorized to bring along visitors.

If the cop was found guilty, when cops seldomly get charged as guilty in court, then he had no business doing hat he did and was disposed of properly. Good riddance blue thug scumbag.
