Iraqi threatens to disband parliament - Yahoo! News (broken link)

Quote:
The speaker of Iraq's fragmented parliament threatened Tuesday to disband the legislature, saying it is so riddled with distrust it appears unable to adopt the budget or agree on a law setting a date for provincial elections.
I was against this war from the start. I've never understood why we didn't leave after deposing Saddam and not finding the WMDs. And now, it appears that the surge, while decreasing violence, has not contributed to the political situations. We've given them the treasury and too many of our troops' lives. It's time to come home.

You know most conservatives would say that Iraqi Parliament is in a gridlock ..........just like U.S congress.

Yes........wait for this............we are not in a middle of a civil war!!

The surge only worked because Iraqi rebel leader -- Al Sadr--- stopped fighting and is waiting for us to leave before he continous his attack.

Too bad for them... too bad for us... too bad for everyone... I hope everyone's great grandkids can continue to financially support this war...
