And all the other women in the world who have been raped can heave a collective sigh of relief that at least the guy who raped them wasn't a Muslim migrant saying "Allahu Akbar." I'm sure they feel much better now.
The story isn't about all other women in the world. It is about a Muslim migrant that kidnapped, beat and violently raped a woman while chanting a Islamic phrase in her face.
You just dislike the fact that (a) he is Muslim and (b) chanted an Islamic phrase while committing a violent act. You can't change the fact he is a Muslim migrant and used a Islamic phrase while committing a violent crime
No, I dislike the fact that men still think it is ok to rape women.
One should feel disgusted that
(a) a woman was violently raped by a male
(b) a woman was raped by a religious male using a reglious phrases while doing it.
Which is the problem? The "violent crime" or chanting "Allah Akbar"?

The problem is a Muslim migrant decided he had the right to violently rape a woman while chanting an Islamic phrase in her face. This woman will live with the fact she was raped by a man who chanted Allahu Akbar while doing it.
Thats where the problem begins and ends for you. He made it about his religion the minute he decided to chant Allahu Akbar while committing a violent act against a female.

It seems his religion takes precedent over the woman being raped - he made it about his religion!!! Oh, the outrage because he was a Muslim chanting Allah Akbar!!!
If people can get outraged over this because of someone's religion, maybe they should get outraged over the thousands of women who get raped every year by sick individuals who aren't Muslims.

The issue is that the woman was raped. But people want to make it about religion.
What matters to me is that a woman was RAPED. Every rape points to a bigger issue. Every child who has been and is molested/raped by a pedophile (some being family members) points to a bigger issue.
You just want to latch on to the fact that he used religion as an excuse for raping a woman. You are putting the excuse before the horrendous act he committed.
