They seriously need a new state motto, they are certainly not worthy of being called the Constitution State

Connecticut to ban gun sales by those on no-fly list - The Boston Globe

The government proposed ban is even worse, not tied to the terror watch list or the no fly list like they claim, it's an entirely unrelated list managed by the U.S. attorney general.

How stupid is this?

We will arrest you if you sell a gun to someone who is on a list.

By the way, you cannot have access to the list because it is a SECRET.

I live in CT the gun laws stink here anyways. They allow those who are involuntarily commuted to a psychiatric facility to keep their firearmd, but those voluntarily committed must give up their firearms for 6 month's.

Oh geez. Maybe they ought to notify people on it, since it is a BS list of the FBI that is not well thought out and executed.

Hey Connecticut? Your government is idiots. This will not pass the second amendment test, so they are wasting your time and money.

You will also not know if you are on the list until you get a background check to buy a gun and get denied, the average citizenry does not have access to it.

And they don't have to tell you why you were denied so you still wouldn't know for sure.

I'm glad some government leaders are protecting their citizens by not allowing terrorists to buy guns!

Yeah, as long as the anti-gun nuts feel better about themselves that's all that matters, even if they have to violate the Constitution to do it

Exactly, this law will be thrown out by the courts before the ink on the Governors signature has dried.

Waste of time and money.

If non citizens are here that are so dangerous that we can not allow them on airplanes, should they be here in the first place?

If there are citizens on the list it is a clear violation of their rights.
