We just went on a flight and with the special screening exemption you can get nowadays we still had to take laptops out, shows off, jacket off and go through the machine.

No difference than if we didn't have I. A week ago we didn't have to do all of this as only me had to take my shoes off.

So in a week it seems to have changed or maybe just this airport.

But why is the USA screening like the PC screening while Israel uses profiled screening which is way better.

I have flown with El AL in the past and felt way more safe. It is like their security guards ask questions and see right through you.

As I heard on TV yesterday, no criminal will ever say "yes" to any question if he brings some illegal stuff or stuff to bring danger upon someone else.

It is how the question is answered and the body language and from the 9/11 murderers we know that people who commit these crimes usually are under the influence of medication or other drugs to keep themselves calm because nobody will conduct such an act and stay calm not even a muslim who believes these virgins are waiting.

If Americans object to taking their shoes off at airports just imagine what they'd think of being vigorously interrogated multiple times by multiple government officials regarding their travel plans, work, religion, political beliefs, hobbies, family and friends.

Yeah, it is utterly ridiculous. They will frisk grandma and make some poor handicapped guy take his artificial leg off but god forbid we profile someone who looks muslim
We wouldn't want to hurt their feelings. Do you know how much faster and more efficient it would be to travel if they were less politically correct?

Yeah. It's better to throw our hands up in the air and let them board, with no questions, right?
After all we wouldn't want to inconvenience anyone.

That's the way it goes. The radical muslims ruined it for the rest.
If I get pulled over by the police because I so happen to match the description of a criminal they are looking for, I would cooperate with them with no hard feelings or any insult taken.
If it happens that there were a spate of white Americans conducting terrorist attacks in China for example and I travel there and am singled out for extra questions or screening. I would EXPECT that.

So you'll willingly subject yourself to a harsher, more invasive TSA. Good for you.

Because Americans are stupid. They want to be safe but don't want to be inconvenienced. As much as they want to be safe they don't want you bothering them by trying to make them safe. Yes, when people get killed then they blame the government for not keeping them safe.

No. I think they should profile muslims more like they do in Israel.
The point I was making was that if I had reason to travel to a place where they need to profile White Americans, I wouldn't have a problem.

Id rather be inconvenienced for real security then to be inconvenienced less for the illusion of security.

Which means you'll be asked about your religious beliefs, right?
