It is funny how Trump has confused and utterly confounded his opponents. None breath they claim Trump's rhetoric is causing all these ugly things and in next claim he is irrelevant. Make up your mind buddy. FYI, I don't believe he is deporting anybody. This is just for the headlines so Hillary could claim we are doing everything that Trump wants.

The reason it worked before was because word got out. Most criminals self-deported. No one from Tijuana wanted deported to Southern Mexico.

That WOULD suck for a Mexican national. It is what it is.

The key is, you don't just drop them across the border. Mexico City is the place they all need to go.

I wish you were right, but I don't know. Being deported or the threat thereof doesn't stop people who want to get into this country from getting in or from coming back in. Why do you think people get caught crossing the border multiple times, even after being deported? These people who are in the country and who are subject to the current roundup have been in the country for years already as their appeals ran through; this upcoming effort doesn't deal with the more recent waves of people who came in as their appeals have not been exhausted yet. They came into the country at a time where the Obama administration was deporting at record numbers . . . yet that didn't stop them from coming (remember, while he has let up in recently, Obama has deported more people out of the country than Bush did).

No, most criminals do not self deport, and a large number of them attempt to come back in even after being deported. And, note, despite Obama deporting more illegal immigrants than Bush did (here's the chart: U.S. deportations of immigrants reach record high in 2013 | Pew Research Center), many more kept coming. The threat of deportation, alone, doesn't stop people from coming into the country illegally. Not when their prospects for a better life are better, even with the threat of deportation and working substandard jobs, here in the US than they are back home.

I don't believe a word of it.
It's all talk. No way Obama is going to start rounding up illegals.

the LAW already in the books demands any foreigner national that enters our county illegal must be deported.

Its the LAW.

this is easy, take the foreigner nationals who are in this country illegally, find out what country they are from, contact that country's embassy and report to them we have a citizen of your country illegally in our country and we will make preparations to return your citizen back to your country safe and unharmed. We should bill that country for the transportation and process fees since its their citizen and their main responsibility that our taxpayers shouldn't have to pay.

that's legal and humane.......there are a few exceptions why you don't return an illegal immigrant back, for health reasons or safety issues but those are the exceptions and we could verify and confirm but the majority of Illegals have to go. That's the Law.....if you don't like the law, have Congress change it but as of now and for a long time that is the law.

Obama has NOT deported more illegals than previous presidents.
He has mislead us, and he even admitted it publicly after he was caught changing the way they count "deportations".
High deportation figures are misleading - LA Times
