This is the civil service system and nothing to do with the administration, the system protects them and makes it almost impossible in cases like this. The GSA problems a few years ago turned out the same way, no firings, no demotions just more of the same.

The justice department can't indict an employee for following procedures which is the case here, what is the crime. Congress and the president need to reform the system and make them more accountable, they are completely out of control. A majority of federal workers are good and hard working but allowing these people to get away without any adverse actions is totally ridiculous.


Paying this type of money to relocate career employees is absurd

If there had been nothing done wrong there wouldn't have been a token attempt to demote them.
