And I'm saying eminent domain is either a violation of people's property rights, or you have to argue that the government is the rightful owner of everything. Those are the only options, which is why I'm against eminent domain.

No, the Supreme Court has upheld Eminent Domain.

I do not like it when it takes private property and gives it to private developers.

But vital infrastructure is something different. And an international border is certainly qualifies as vital infrastructure.

No to eminent domain, but landowners should allow border patrol on their land. In return the Government pays them a fee for access to their land.

The border is Federal property, that "Trumps" their property rights. The Feds can just take it.

Actually, it should be the other way around. If landowners don't want a wall on their property but they want protection then they should pay our government for patrolling their land with the Border Patrol. No different than if you hired a private security company to do so. If they want to do that then they can deal with the illegal aliens and drug cartels themselves and so be it. They'll be crying in their beer in no time.

That actually wouldn't be a bad idea. Except no Wall it's a waste of money.

Do you know where the border actually is in many southwestern states?

I bet it's not where you think it is.
