1. If the 17th amendment never passes I think there is a decent chance that this country would be even more leftist today. Just like almost no Voters care about confirmation picks for the the courts when voting for senators today, almost no voters would care about who was elected to the senate when voting for state legislators. It would be easy for a president to bride senators. considering through most of the last century Dems had a clear majority of the state legislatures, I think this country would have been even more left wing. what are you talking about the 16th or 17th amendment how does that have anything to do with the National Firearms Act, are you trying to insinuate that the bill never would have passed under the old system? If so why pick that bill? and what do jews have to do with it?

It should have never passed the Supreme Court, if it was truely unbiased and not a federal government institution, paid by the US Treasury. The Supreme Court is the Federal Government. The fox watching the hen house. "It is a living document" Ya, only when amended. Not by laws.
