I'm assuming that nobody is "regulating" the F-troop style militias that we currently have.

Militias are illegal in the USA. Try and organize a group of armed men and women, training them in tactical domestic warfare.

I bet you are locked away as soon as they catch wind of it.

Well regulated militia... organized and trained to use their own weapons.

But on a positive note, he did reference himself (either via "I" or "we", where he included himself as part of the collective "we") a measly 76 times. In 33 minutes.

both sporting/hunting guns. For those who don't know what they are, the top one is a shotgun and the bottom example is a rifle.
There goes my hope that if we just painted all guns pink that the gun grabbers would mind their business!

Listen man, I'm sure you're well aware that I firmly support the 2nd Amendment. To me "shall not be infringed" is very clear! The way I see it, own all the guns you want, have as much ammo as you want. The fact that one owns several firearms does not frighten me, like it does many of these leftist anti-gun folks who are uneducated about firearms anyway. Having said now, I as a law abiding citizen should not have to cede my rights away or jump through more hoops, just because of the evil doers in society! However; use a gun to kill someone outside of self defense or defense of your family, and you swing from a rope. Use a gun in a violent crime, and you are convicted, hard time.... mandatory 25 years, no appeals! In other words, you forfeit your rights! I'll also be the first to tell you that there are many unneccessary laws that we could do away with in this country, as well as rethink our stance on the war on drugs given that prohibition does not work, and is designed to create even more criminals due to the black market it creates. But, sadly, too many people profit on both sides. But... that is a topic for a whole other thread.

Instead of asking questions of us, why don't you look it up yourself.

It HAS been explained on here MANY times. We get tired of repeating ourselves.

My husband would have a fit. He told me when he was very sick our society would change in a way he would not like. I guess he was right?

" the language is to vague and is misinterpreted by both sides" WRONG.

All you have to do is some research on what the Founding Fathers said when they wrote it.

It REALLY is that simple.
