If that is what he is doing, it means that he finally got some real life job experience by being in the White House.

Tell that to the septuagenarians running for the Democratic nomination.

It must be. What else could explain it.
No conspiracy. It's a totally fake story made up by a lame right wing rag to use as click bait for Obama haters.

If nationalism is a rightest objective, global collectivism is the corresponding leftist goal. Also, what leftists care about is good intentions, not actual achievement or real policy accomplishments.

In fact, this would be a very effective way for Obama to continue to feed his narcissism. After 8 years as President of the United States, truth is he has not made many real friends in Washington. When he leaves, he is not likely to be in high demand here in the US in any constructive sort of way. Not having the sort of hobbies and interests that former President Bill Clinton does, what is he to do?

The United Nations is a great place for leftist self congratulations on a continuing basis with no accountability or expectations of any real accomplishments. Also, the Secretary of the UN is as close to a "President of the World" position as currently exists. What other job might he pursue that would not be beneath him?

It would meet his self-perceived psychological needs well if he could get the job.

You seem to be arguing that he should be seeking it.

Otherwise, there is no evidence that he is.

I'm fine with anything that will keep Obama out of Southern California.

I do not want him to seek it. But it would be a great enabling position for his narcissistic tendencies. What would be better is if he sought professional help for this psychiatrically defined personality disorder.
