They are already public, what am I missing. The timing was perfect right in the middle of a presidential campaign, low information GOP candidates took the bait an ran with it. This will bring out the truth relative to this organization, the politicians that supported this nonsense to the point of shutting down government are going to feel very foolish.
Only the brain dead would blame the messenger for delivering a woman talking about prices for the bodyparts of fetuses while cavalierly giggling and munching on a garden salad.
Exactly. PP is in the business of suppressing the truth; it's how they survive.
The truth of behind the organization and how they produced the videos. PP was allowed to subpoena some of the CMP employees so this should uncover some other people that support this organization. They caused quite a bit of damage to PP and now are being made responsible for their antics. Ted Cruz is a big supporter of Troy Newman by the way.
"The lawsuit is against known anti-abortion extremists, including Daleiden, Troy Newman, Albin Rhomberg, and Sandra Merritt, as well as the front organizations they created to commit their crimes: CMP and BioMax.
"The lawsuit charges that CMP, its leaders, and other co-conspirators:
– Violated the Racketeer Influence and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act;
– Violated the federal eavesdropping statute;
– Engaged in wire fraud, mail fraud, invasion of privacy, illegal secret recording, and trespassing; and
– Used a complex criminal enterprise to defraud Planned Parenthood and prevent it from providing health care. The lawsuit asks for restitution of compensatory and punitive damages and triple damages for violation of the RICO Act, as well as attorney’s fees."
This could backfire against PP. PP officials and supporters have claimed these videos were heavily edited. By bringing this lawsuit forward, all of the recordings can be made public. It could show the opposite of what PP is trying to say with their suit. The video records officials with PP making the statements freely without duress and so it is up to PP to prove what they said isn't what they said.
It won't show the opposite because the film producer has already admitted to it.
I'm making a donation to PP, every little bit will help with their legal fees.
It might also help defray the costs of the extraction of the nervous system (spinal cord, brain, etc) out of a quietly gestating fetus. I hear that it's an expensive procedure.
