Jobs was raised "anglo white", NOT Muslim Arab. Even the Christian Arabs have the rep of doing much better in life than their Muslim brothers despite the 2 religious groups being of the same basic "family".
How about America focuses on taking care of America? The Middle East doesn't want or need any more of our "help".
This is exactly it, according to many. No one in the Middle East wants our help. Until they find themselves needing our help. (kind of a turd circle)
Switching shoes for a moment, who would allow a million or two American refugees into their country? We would like to think any number of countries would, but aren't Americans almost universally despised? We hear that time and time again. It must be true, right?
We've fought for, with, against, and aside so many people for so long, isn't it time we just tell them to fight for themselves? Not to get all political here, but aren't the same people who advocate for getting out of the Middle East the same ones fighting to bring these supposed refugees? Would it notmake sense to spend the money there rather than here? And let them fight for their own homes? Maybe I'm missing something.
Useless and costly endeavor. This is fairly politically incorrect, but Arabs generally don't display military prowess (maybe a notch above U.N. blue hats on a good day) unless fighting for their tribe or religion.
The Syrian "refugees" are total lowlifes who seek to spread Shria Law. They will brutally oppress women, atheists, Christians and Jews. There is absolutely no place in free and open society for these regressive and backwards people.

Growing up, there were families in my town who were of Lebanese and Syrian descent. All of them were Christians. Their kids (who were around my age at the time) were second generation Americans. These people assimilated very well in this country.
As long as Obama doesn't send those "refugees" to our sand box of Arizona instead. We don't play real well with especially Islamists here.
Same here in Alaska.
