I think it is such a shame that we made this insane deal with Iran.

There has been no forward movement in the last 1443 years and any country Islamic is forced on people it becomes a third world country.

The country should be crying for these sailors because their lives are too precious to lose for these ridiculous wars.

I was talking about the social mores, not politics.

Admittedly, I have not followed this incident closely.

Has Iran sent the bill yet for the mechanical work that they must have done to the two boats? If the boats broke down and drifted into Iranian waters where the sailors were captured. And if the sailors were released and left on those same two boats, repairs must have been done.

Get over it.

We spent 25 years humiliating the Iranian people. 1953-1979 are years that we shouldn't forget.

Iran had a democratically elected government until 1953. Guess what nation deposed it?

Sad thing is that we didn't even care about Iranian oil. We overthrew their democracy as a favor to Britain.
