I was prepared to sit this next election out but now that is my mission.
Join the party. His death will increase voter turnout, that is if he is not replaced before the election. Hopefully his seat will be filled before the end of this year.

Typical low end GOP magical thinking.

But the liberal elites are very powerful and the yuppie liberals usually have a good turnout. Bernie Sanders also has a very radicalized, brainwashed, and extremist base but one that's well organized.

What many "believe" means nothing when their are exit polls and you can google Perot's platform and see it in no way aligns with Bush.

Are you inferring that the low end Republicans who would not come out for Romney will come out this time around for the SCOTUS?

Romney lost for many reasons. First because he had the personality of a door stopper. Second he embellished on Obama's failures and got caught. This cost him credibility. He could have stuck to the facts and been far better off.
In my experience the biggest difference in GOP voters and Democrats is the passion. GOP voters by nature are conservative and just don't get as fired up, nor do they surrender their voter loyalty as easily. They just won't vote for a candidate that sucks, simply because they are Republican, as easily as democratic voters do.
Another is GOP candidates don't offer a host of free stuff. A good percentage of Democrats are people who are on the take from the FED and they will do just about anything to protect those freebies.
Romney lost because he had low personal appeal to people who actually want a candidate to have a personality.
Hillary maintains strong support, not because she is trust worthy or a good choice, but because she will continue the freebies just like Obama.

What are these "freebies"?

No, I'm saying anyone who believes the GOP's intention is to approve anyone but a radical conservative nomination should come see me about a lovely little bridge I have for sale in Brooklyn.

They've
declared the game to be obstructionism, they'll pick what they've planted.
