Watching the rise and support of Trump ( the only primary candidate that polls consistently showed couldn't beat Hillary), I've had real concerns about the IQ of Republicans.
I'm Independent and lean conservative. So I Googled it and was surprised and pleased to find, even though there's been this anomaly with Trump, the Rs aren't the mouth-breathing neandrathals the liberal MSM likes to portray them as -- especially with the current Trump phenomenon.
They actually are more informed (Pew Reaearch) and higher IQ and educated than Dems.

Democrats suck in new immigrants into their party who do not understand American politics.

I as an immigrant and many of my friends once we see what both parties stand for, switch over to Republican.

I guess the fact that you are an Independent explains the title.

I find that people think that immigrants favor more immigration but that is not always the case as the newer immigrants compete with existing immigrants for jobs.

Lightbulb Republicans have higher IQ and more knowledgeable than Dems

They just love to hide all of that brilliance from the public.

Pure genius!

If Republicans are so smart, why do they keep picking losing candidates?

No smart person I know does the same thing three straight times expecting a different result.

Might wanna rethink your so-called brilliance.

One could argue that it's because there are so many not-so-smart Democrats out there.

One could argue that an intelligent person has ideals and goals that they hold above the loyalty to a political party or group and should vote in a manner that supports their ideals and goals and not to support someone because of the jersey they wear.

Claiming Republicans are more educated than Dems is hysterical considering it's the right that continually whines about those damn Liberal-run colleges and universities.

An education can be had through other means than Govt funded schools.

Personally I don't find much difference between the two teams as far as intelligence goes. When either party is control we get more of the same war, theft, reduction in freedom...
