Seems the standard answer and lack of follow through is that all elitists will move to Canada, if Trumps elected.
But none want to go to Mexico....Wonder why? (sarcasm)

I've said the same. All these elitist whites that at just sooo disgusted by this bigot - why run off to your safe white space? Practice what you breach. Try Honduras, or maybe Yemen.

LOL - Yeah, go move to Honduras. I used to live there. I carried a sub-machine gun in a shoulder bag and a pistol under my shirt. We never left our family compound in less than two and often three cars. Yeah, it's just the place for americans to go. You think Chicago sucks, try San Pedro Sula.

And why on earth would someone let ONE person dictate the rest of their life. I think this expression "I'm leaving..." is so silly.

As for Canada, who in their right mind would want to give up the few freedoms we have left in america to become a subject of the Queen?

My point is, they want to go North to the predominately white area of the Americas. They are rich, so it wont be a problem. They will/would maintain US status for tax purposes, even though allot of them are still from Canada to begin with.

Liberal Dems in Alaska (very low percentage as AK is really red) can move to Russia or Canada.

Ask Palin for directions. She can see Russia from her backyard.

You can from Little Diomede island, and it was Tina Fey who said it the BS which libs cream over.
Sarahs actual quote, "They’re our next-door neighbors. And you can actually see Russia, from land, here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.”

I have no dog in the fight. Just being a pain.

I'm disappointed every four years like clockwork.

People underestimate Mexico's livability. It helps that I speak Spanish though.

I like Canada too. I could do Acapulco in the winter and Vancouver in the summer.

What impact has the Queen had on Canada's freedoms?

On the Cato Institute's 2015 'Human Freedom Index,' Canada placed at #6 – whilst the United States did not even rank within the Top 10 (#20 to be precise). Some other Commonwealth members also performed better.

It is problematic to assume that a nation has a lower standard of freedom merely because it is part of the Commonwealth. Americans are overreacting with their proposals to move, but actually doing so wouldn't make them terribly worse off.

Sounds absurd to flee your country because any given political candidate might win or lose,. Why not stay in your own country and effect change to your liking.
Moving to Canada =
a very long tough immigration procedure that you may not ultimately qualify for.
Brutal winters.
Very high taxes to pay for the many social programs.
Much less job opportunities.
Can you speak French?
Can you pass the point system?
Six selection factors – Federal skilled workers
Going through all this upheaval just because Trump or Hillary might or might not win an election sounds like a step above hysterical drama queen.

Let's see. Language first and foremost. At least in Canada, one can live in an English-speaking region if they don't speak French.
