He seemed a bit bitter at the West and mentioned the high unemployment of Muslims.
Is that why CNN blamed Belgium, do you think? Based on what you posted, it does sound like they're culpable.

Of course an attack could happen here. It already did. So what?

Brussels is 5500 miles from here. If Belgium can't handle its Muslim population, then what in the hell do you want US to do about it?

That's not playing dumb on the matter. That's the reality of the matter. Stop trying to raise American's blood pressure over European's problems.

I can't speak for "Western Societies." I can only speak for what's best for OUR society in the United States. If the Belgians don't want tighter controls over their borders, that's their business. Same for Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland, Holland, etc, etc...nations that are far older than ours and know better what they need to do for their own nations than we do.

Your suggestion might make sense for us, but i'm in no position to say what's best for any other nation.

The problem obviously effects both America and Europe.

Not really. Americans seemingly WANT it to affect us so that they can be in anti Muslim solidarity with Europe. We don't have a radical Islam problem in this country despite the zeitgeist and modern day hyperbole.

Europe's problem is really their own, and has not a thing to do with us.

The Netherlands has been having a problem in recent years as well...their long-protected Jewish citizens in Amsterdam being harassed by Muslims. These countries are going to have to find the right balance between the tolerance of all (which has made them great societies), and not tolerating hatred and toxic ideologies which are a detriment to humanity.

Belgium is in part to blame.

They bring in people from radical parts of the world and don't screen them for radical beliefs.

They are so tolerant that they let these radicals preach hatred against others including those that advocate the freedom and tolerance that makes Belgium part of the "West."

They allow even these hate filled migrants to sit on their butts collecting freebies (sending some of it back to Syria, etc), who then blame Belgium, biting the hand that feeds them literally.

They believe in freedom of movement allowing potentially hundreds of Muslim Belgians to go back and forth between Belgium and Syria, which means ISIS grows.

If you tweet out facts about Muslim migrants having a rape epidemic inside their housing, or Muslim children clapping and cheering when they heard of the murders, or Muslim young men chanting that Abdeslam is a hero while throwing objects at cops - the cops show up to get you to stop sending mean tweets out...but they don't show up to the Muslim immigrant that preaches open hatred against the West recruiting for ISIS in the subway.

In Brussels you have Muslims reported as just "youth" fire bomb a public Christmas tree - media avoided that they were Muslim.

In Brussels you have Muslims reported as just "youth" throw a car down the stairs to the subway, nearly killing people - media avoided that they were Muslim.

In Brussels you have Muslims reported as just "youth" setting fire to scores of cars - media avoided that they were Muslim.

You are right...Belgium needs to look in the mirror about how it ignores reality.

If I only eat fat filled Twinkies, I will become fat. If most of Belgium's immigrants come from a part of the world with many radicals, and Belgium then lets them sit on their butts with freebies enjoying extreme freedom to do as one pleases....then Belgium will slowly turn radical.

They are....how can you expect Muslims to stand living next to filthy Europeans while planning to wipe our Western civilization for such low Jizya welfare payments. Belgium should surrender all of their earnings to be distributed monthly to the Muslims in Belgium planning on wiping out the filthy Infidels....it will happen faster that way.
