Crap like this has been going on for ages. I remember when my brother and I were kids back in the early 80s we went to an Easter egg hunt and they were supposed to have staggered starting times. I think I was 7 and he was 5 at the time. The kids under 5 were supposed to go first with their parents, then 5 minutes later the kids 6-10 could start and then 5 minutes after that the older kids. What really ended up happening was the parents of the youngest set running around grabbing up all the goodies. There were grown ass parents with infants carrying their baby around under their arms with the basket in one hand and shoveling candy into the basket with the other. My brother and I got nothing and cried the whole way home. That was the last time we ever did a public Easter egg hunt.
