You can be thankful or not, regardless, it's what happened. And any European who lives here is carrying on the tradition.

Lol, calm down. Just stating a fact, whether you like it or not.

Or did the word 'fair' that she used already cause you to recognize her as a dirty filthy librullll at 10 years old?

I suppose reading the word 'fair' made you burp out a little pent up hatred, huh?
I just feel bad for her, she's probably been intellectually abused by some liberal maggot with the idea that we are an unjust nation from an early age.

To be more accurate, you should say British, not "European".
The French and Spanish had much different relations with Native Americans
than the British did. Other Europeans didn't even play a role.

Word? From what I've read the Spanish were the most brutal colonizers of them all.

I don't care much who is on $20 bill. If that makes a large group of people happy, so be it.
However, I just heard that some "progressives" aren't happy, since being on a coin tints her legacy.
So many mentally deranged people in Amrica today...

i did not know this. very interesting.

"It’s no exaggeration to say that the Combahee raid was unique in American history," Donnelly's piece reads. "All Union operations in slave territory, especially as the Emancipation Proclamation become well known, yielded the self-liberated by the hundreds. But the Combahee raid was planned and executed primarily as a liberation raid. … That’s how Tubman conceived of it. That, too, is unique — because for the first and only time in the Civil War, or for that matter any American conflict before this century, a woman (and a civilian at that) played a decisive role in planning and carrying out a military operation."
How Harriet Tubman's military service added up to $20

Was she not? At 9 year old, she's already started judging people based on gender and race!

Fair? Fair means we are all judged based on merit not our gender or skin color!

Slavery was also the very foundation that the nation was based upon. Both remain shameful periods of our history.
