Nobody teaches a person to have common sense and see when a person has a mental disorder and needs help, people like you who ignore and except a person disorder are the people who are to blame for that person not receiving the help they need, did your parents teach you this?
There have been gays since the beginning of time and I'm pretty sure transgenders were right behind them. Not every brain is wired the same way. I chose to accept those who are different, you chose to label them with a disorder. My parents taught me to accept everyone regardless how different they were. Sorry your parents didn't teach you the same. The nuns taught me to accept everyone too. Who taught you to be so judgmental.

As long as you're going back to the beginning of time, let's just go back to the 70s, when both were considered disorders. Was that medical community being "judgmental" before they caved to PC concerns and yet another revenue source?
When people are "confused" about which sex they are, they need help--not enablers telling them that it's normal to change how they "identify" from day to day, or to mutilate them by telling them that they can change their sex through surgery and a lifetime of opposite sex hormones.

What a bizarre post. What does accepting them mean?
What about people with bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, or another disorder? Are you not "accepting" of them by affording them medical help? I have compassion for transgender people, and I can't imagine how hard it must be to live with. I sincerely wish there weren't so many enablers of the disorder.

Which is the true compassion?
We probably disagree about everything else in the world; however, I agree with you here.
Bruce can change his name add boobs or whatever else he wants, it doesn't change the FACT he is just a man pretending to be a woman, his DNA has not changed. I know that's hard for you to understand but it is a fact.
Placing bags of silicone into an open wound in your chest doesn't change your sex.
