Show me a young Constitutionalist and I'll show you someone with no heart. Show me an old Socialist-Progressive and I'll show you someone with no brains.

It all depends if you want to follow, or you want to find the truth.
Young people, right off the teet, and just kicked from the nest are looking to follow. They don't have time for the truth, yet.
Once real life slaps them in the face, they may start looking to find the truth, as the lies keep adding up and "I told you so" is not a pleasant thing to hear constantly.

The nail in the coffin for anything socialist-progressive, ended for me when I became self-employed.

At the end of the day, progressive leftism is about nothing so much as obsession with what the Joneses have.

So you supported a political party that opposes small business tax cuts and small business lending aid.

You supported a political party that opposes unemployment benefits if you should loose your job.

You supported a political party that keeps your credit card interest rates high.

And now you fight for tax cuts that will add $12 trillion dollars to our national debt. A tax cut package that will give the richest 1% of Americans 37% of the tax cuts, and give the middle class 8% of the tax cuts.

Do you really believe people get smarter politically when they get older?
Or do you believe older people are more susceptible to fall victim to the republican corporate scammers?

You mentioned "Socialists" and "Progressives" in your threads OP.

Don't you know "Socialist" and "Progressive" are words republicans use to describe democrats.

And your whole thread is a spin off of the old parable "when your young your a liberal/democrat, and when your old your a conservative/republican."

(YOUR WHOLE THREAD IS ABOUT POLITICAL PARTY'S)

when taxes were higher on the rich and the government was willing to spend some dough, it allowed America to create the greatest middle class in the history of the world. "conservative" principles have been eroding the foundation for years.

I remember watching an old "Andy Griffith Show" episode where Opie was pretending to be Robin Hood. And Sheriff Taylor told Opie "(We do good deeds) We take from the rich and give to the poor, but we do it by law, by taxes. People that are too old or too sick and need help we give it to them."

Back then republicans accepted the rich paying higher tax rates, and republicans back then accepted tax dollars from the rich helping the old, sick, and needy. But after Reagan and his supply side economics republicans now desire the rich to have the lowest tax rates of everyone. And like you said it has destroyed the greatest middle class in the history of the world.

Sheriff Taylor says the above at 19:38 in the Youtube link bellow.

Are you ignorant? Have you been made that way on purpose?

The first Progressive was a Republican. Mitt "I'm a Progressive Republican" Romney(self admitted)???

A Constitutionalist and a Social Progressive, have nothing to do with Democrat and Republican Political Parties? For the last 130 years(Progressive Era), both Political Parties have had both Conservatives and social progressives.Reagan brought the more conservative democrats over to the republican party. As Carter turned out to be everything the republicans said he would be. 2010 mid-terms was the start there was change in the air, to rid the progressives from the Republican party....

One political party still has both Constitutional Conservatives and Social Progressives.

Your premise may be true one day, but not today. Not just yet.
