On the one (non-wiping) hand - it's disrespectful to the country.

On the other (wiping) hand - Obama is a polarizing figure, disliked by many - including myself.

I gotta go with the disrespect angle on this. This is over the line - especially with the flag as the mat on the floor. However - dealing with it publicly could cause more damage. We could put Putin-paper on our rolls in the stalls.

Russians Make Barack Obama Ice Cream and Toilet Paper
U.S. officials expressed huge irritation after due to a Russian company that is trying to cash in on chilly relations between Moscow and Washington by releasing an ice cream called "Little Obama," which comes after a Russian cafe called Vladimir Putin has Barack Obama's face on toilet paper in their bathrooms.

...
With relations at a post-Cold War low since Russia's 2014 annexation of Crimea and its military intervention in Syria, Russian state media and pro-Kremlin activists have often berated and mocked President Barack Obama in terms that U.S. officials have described as racist and insulting.

...
Slavitsa is based in Krasnoyarsk, a Siberian city that hit the headlines last month after a cafe dedicated to Vladimir Putin opened there, luring visitors with dozens of pictures of the Russian president. The cafe features Obama's face on toilet paper in its restrooms, while toilet mats bear the colors of the U.S. flag.
I guess the other thing is that this is one place - it's not a countrywide effort, so maybe you overlook it for now.

I agree that this is too much. I truly dislike the guy and what he stands for. He is one of the worst chief executives this country has seen. However, I will not cross the line of decency with my dislike for him.

But that's me. Let those others do what they want, even as classless as it appears.

So now that it's Obama it's disrespectful? Was it not when people did it with Bush years ago? Is there going to be a boycott of Amazon for selling such items? Of course not, unless they did it with an Obama version, then maybe some would do it.

Maybe some will get up in arms over the Hillary toilet bowl cleaner

They have been around for years. I have given a roll of it to each of my liberal relatives every year.

As a matter of fact, I have a few rolls at home that I use on special occasions.

I guess we expect this stuff from extremists within the country... but for other countries, this ain't cool. Siblings can beat each other up - but someone outside of the family, not so much.

I understand your point - that if Russia did this to Bush, it wouldn't be a big deal for many around here. I guess for me, there's a line, and ultimately it's country first for me.

Yea, let's let the nukes fly. Really...who cares? A cafe in Siberia? Besides Obama is gone in a few months then they'll have to turn to some other nationalist/capitalist ploy to sell ice cream.

To fold or to crumple would be a philosophical question in this case in terms of respect.
