The reason I am debating the times is because it shows that he would never had made the male team...ever. Further, his times are horrible, and in just about any other state, he would never have even made it to state with those times:

USATF - Statistics - Records

That proves what I've been saying about the times in high school female track races. His 13 + seconds for 100m is NOT good. Why I'm bothering with that is because it illustrates that this person is no athlete...he's a male yet he still runs slow as hell. BUT, because he simply decides to say, "I'm a girl!" he gets to run in track and take away that spot from a girl, a real girl, who worked hard. That is grotesquely unfair. As we've been discussing, hormones (which we don't even know if this kid was taking any), don't change everything about a male when they want to call themselves female. He is a terrible runner, but he still had an advantage...which has been my point all along. If you had read those posts, maybe you would have been able to put that all together.
Oh ok - I agree with you.

So, they should get the scholarships? What kind of ridiculous stuff is this? In that case, why don't other races pretend to be races they're not, so they can get scholarships too? How stupid is that?

You've heard the phrase "You can be anything you want to be" - it's now truer than ever. You can pick your gender or race. I'm waiting for the day we can pick our economic status...imagine saying "I'm rich" and it just happens.

We're going there, soon. In fact, Elizabeth Warren has already pretended to be Native American to get preferential career treatment at Penn and Harvard's Law School. Happened a little over 20 years ago.

I'm going to "identify" as having no income, so I don't have to pay any income tax. And I'm going to "identify" as age 65+ so I can get Medicare and Social Security.

Since you're a sports professional, can you please explain how hormone therapy affects reaction times, central nervous system training, and hand-eye coordination?

Not my area of expertise! I trust the process the NCAA Board of Governors went through to develop the policy that currently exists. Once and if the opportunity presents itself where they are wrong I will admit so.
The "sports professional" comment was in reply to a poster talking about how athletic scholarships are awarded. I realize I may of come off a little egotistical and for that I apologize.

I would like to see some data on that as the discussion is always around muscular endurance and bone density, which is only applicable for certain sports.

The athletic scholarships I'm not concerned about, because if it's fair, it's fair. If it's not, it's not.
