"We are an nation of immigrants"....eternally. We are never allowed to be a nation of Americans aka U.S. citizens no matter how many years go by and no matter that our citizen population way outnumbers our immigrant population. Other countries import immigrants also but they don't have to wear that stupid label around their necks.

It's used as blackmail into shaming us into allowing everyone in the world to come here aka open borders.

Native American. As all humans moved here from the eastern hemisphere.

Indian as it's a misnomer.

The Canadians have us on this. First Nations.

Also neocon and *******. Just inflammatory.

"Right side of history" annoys the living crap out of me. Unless you've been 50 years into the future, you don't know what the right side of history is anymore than I do. It's a condescending phrase meant to shame people who have different opinions.

Good one. Haven't heard it recently but it always irked me as well.

Ladders of opportunity

Bring them out of the shadows (I wish they're freakin just up and go back INTO the shadows)

Comprehensive (my husband and I had a drinking game during one of the Democratic debates with that word)

Invest (means "spend")

That's not who we are as a people (Ok........then just call the people sheep or sitting ducks and we'll call it a day)

Many of the others already listed

"Liberal"
"Leftist"

These words have been repeated so endlessly and so mindlessly that they have lost all meaning. The meaning they once had has been muddled together with a lot of other things that don't apply, and then applied to whoever doesn't think that the GOP is great and/or disagrees on certain issues.
