It has been stated that the shooting/terror attack in Orlando was "the worst mass shooting in U.S. history".
I was talking with my son about this and he said "well, not really dad".
When I asked for him to clarify he pointed out the Wounded Knee Massacre in 1890.

"On this day in 1890, in the final chapter of America’s long Indian wars, the U.S. Cavalry kills 146 Sioux at Wounded Knee on the Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota."

It's intended for the sheep to swallow it up and ban guns. It was an intentional lie.

That would be very interesting and relevant if the massacre were carried out by one individual, instead of a troop of US Cavalry.

We had another mass shooting around June of last year. It's long forgotten now.

Where in the definition does it specify one shooter?

I guess Columbine doesn't count bc there were 2 shooters?

Pshaw.

People are mourning for lost ones and survivors, medical teams and police/SWAT personnel are most likely still reeling from this tragedy.
And what I can hear is that people saying "OH this is not THAT bad"
Are you serious people?
