Give everyone a gun, make it mandatory to carry it and then there will be no more mass shootings. More people may wind up dead, but it will be from several different guns so it's OK.

Even people with criminal records and mental illnesses????
More than just bashing every liberal idea, I'm legitimately curious what the conservative solution is. Please enlighten me.
Only the truly naive thinks we can "stop mass shootings".
Short of getting Barbara Eden to fold her arms and nod her head you aren't going to eliminate guns.
Just curious as to your take on why it is that we have had more guns than people since the beginning of our country and yet we didn't have any problem like this until the last 30 years or so.
Did you know you used to be able to mail order guns? Lee Harvey Oswald did exactly that.
What is it that has changed in our culture where we were fine with having plenty of guns for the first 180-200 years or so, but now suddenly guns are evil and will stop at nothing to kill us all??
Concealed carry permits, de-polarization of both politics from a D/R perspective, especially the gun rights name calling, better licensing, better training, some sort of insurance, draw some parallels to how we handle cars, although I'm against registering them. No easy answer though really.
There is no Liberal Solution or Conservative Solution.
There are actions that can be taken that would focus on the underlying cause of the violence instead of focusing on the weapon used by the killers.
Call Terrorist attacks what they are. Work to stop terrorist attacks on US soil instead of importing people from countries where terrorism is rampant and hatred of the US is well known.
Focus on mental health issues that are often seen in the killers involved in mass murders.
Remove the media sensationalizing the killers and instead focus on the lives of the victims. Often these killers are seeking infamy by causing as much death and destruction as possible. When media continues to show the killer and talk about his message, he succeeds in getting infamy and the victims are overlooked.
Get rid of Gun Free Zones. They are nothing more than an invitation for criminals to commit crimes knowing that they will not be thwarted by anyone who is a law abiding citizen with a conceal carry license.
Return gun safety classes to the public school system. Take the mystery out of handling a gun so that there aren't stories of children shooting themselves or someone else because they are not trained in gun safety.
Stop glorifying gun violence in movies and video games.
Focus on the violence of the inner cities and gang warfare. More murders are committed by black on black gun violence than any other category of gun violence.
There are no laws that are not presently in place that would have stopped the Orlando terrorist attack. Just like there are no stricter gun control laws that could have thwarted Sandy Hook or the Aurora Movie Theater massacres.
No one can stop all the shootings , but we can take more precautions .. we shouldn't bring in more Syrians from the hot bed of terrorism. There are mostly men .. I didn't see many woman or children.
France has the toughest gun laws and they were mowed down and killed.
It's not con vs lib. It's about OUR rights. Should 10 guys or women on a bs 'watch' list not be allowed to assemble?
