The Pulitzer Prize winner told the audience at the luncheon that House Speaker Paul Ryan's endorsement of Trump is one of the reasons why he decided to leave the party, and he didn't say whether he'd vote for either Democratic presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton or a third-party candidate, such as Libertarian Gary Johnson.

He got wise. It would be good for either side to abandon both sham parties.

Good riddance. Ole George is a insufferable idiot. Im sure the GOP will get along just fine without him.

Default George Will Dumps the Republican Party

Longtime conservative commentator says he's given up on the Republican Party and has switched his registration to "unaffiliated".

Quote:
"This is not my party,” Will told PJ Media on Saturday. The Washington Post writer said a Democratic presidency would be better than the alternative offered by Donald Trump — who once called Will "a major loser".

“Make sure he loses,” Will said of the presumptive GOP nominee. “Grit their teeth for four years and win the White House.”
Quote:
Will said a “President Trump” who was unopposed by Congress would be worse for the country than a Clinton presidency paired with a Republican-led Congress.

Not surprised. George, Bill, the whole lot got out maneuvered. Embarrassed, really. For all of their intellectualism, they could not explain to folks who lost their livelihood, their position in society, why.

Who needs great thought when your life has crumbled around you? It did not happen to me, but I do get the gut wrenching sickness of it all. Lives decimated.

Another pundit who is/has been long out of touch with who he thought, incorrectly, he was trying to represent.

He had to leave once Trump put the spotlight on him. That's what cockroaches do. They run when exposed.

More will join him as Trump cleans out the garbage can of Washington D.C.
