The Russian government has no military bases across the globe. And Russia/Putin don't threaten to any country for real.

Close all foreign bases unless they agree to pay us a profit for being there.

Reduce our taxes big time. That would boost productivity and growth and we would all prosper.

Wasted military spending is a drain on productivity.

List of Russian bases overseas. *Note some countries listed may have recently had Russian military used to secure them.

The very long term, because it requires virtually an entire continent learning to behave itself, renouncing the use of force as just another bargaining chip something that it has only learned to accomplish over the brief period of 70 years.

Almost all these countries relate to Russia in the same way as Puerto Rico to USA (Except for Viet Nam and Syria where Russia were invited by the legal Syrian government.
Now take a look at this list :

This is INSANE!!!

Insomuch as we live in a global world... you tell me if you think that bodes well for America.

Of course, maybe the people of the USA are going to be OK with that situation.....Somehow I don't think so.

The concept is somewhat appealing, but the reality is not nearly so inviting.

Stop it. This isn't Jupiter. This is the planet Earth. We can have assets to any destination in HOURS! Not a week!

Besides, that's a ludicrous scenario anyway. Norwegians and Italians go all over the world and somehow they survive without having bases all over the globe. If Americans use their common sense, they wouldn't travel to these dangerous destinations.

Have bases all over the world so that Americans can travel easier? Please. Gimme a break.
