An inconvenient truth:

The so-called "liberal media" are made up of profit-driven mega-corporations whose primary agenda is improving their ratings in order to charge more for advertising.

Those who assume that large corporations are concentrations of liberal thought are delusional in the extreme.

Just a little FYI for the nonthinkers on the forum.

If there are any...

It has been noted time and again that a majority of the media vote left of center. THEY even admit it. But I am sure you will tell us that their ideology never affects their journalistic outcomes. Please.

I hear this term all the time from a guy I work with (when I say all the time I mean ALL THE TIME)....

So, all of the news outlets besides Fox News are considered the "liberal media" according to him.

Isn't the rest of the civilized free western world more "liberal" than American conservatives?

Aren't the rest of the countries that we are allies with more "liberal" than America?

4 out of the last 6 elections have gone to the more "liberal" candidate.

Conservatism is America is a shrinking Ideology and the numbers and election results prove that.

The younger generations are more "liberal" than previous generations...numbers prove that.

It kinda seems like the only thing that isn't "liberal" is American conservatives and Fox News...

(kinda like the only organized group of free people on the PLANET that collectively calls man made climate change a "hoax" are American conservatives) LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE IS IN AGREEMENT

My point is...

Shouldn't we just call the "liberal media" just the "media" and Fox news can be known as the "conservative media" being that it is in the minority?

It is pretty much a "LIBERAL WORLD" so I think we should designate conservative media as the pariah instead of the rest of the media.

Is it more likely that 1 news source is biased or ALL OF THE OTHER ONES???????????

BY SHEAR NUMBERS ALONE....

"liberal media" = "the media"
"Fox news" = "conservative media"

*Before I get attacked for being a liberal....I am a Veteran with NPA (no party affiliation)

Of course you are correct. Bottom line is that conservatives attempt to make liberal a bad word.

The difference between a conservative media and a liberal media is that the conservative media is trying to be honest but the liberal media thinks they are the most honest and brilliant media and no other type of media should exist.

The left-wing media often puts ideology over profit. After we invaded Iraq, Hollywood cranked out anti-war and anti-military movies frequently over the next decade. "In the Valley of Elah." "Stop-Loss." "Redacted." "Lions for Lambs." "Rendition." "Grace Is Gone," "Green Zone", etc. all bombed. Regardless, the studios continued to crank out these movies that each lost money for Hollywood.

Meanwhile, "American Sniper" made more money than every anti-war movie from the previous decade combined.
