PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona Department of Economic Security officials say a state lawmaker has been indicted on felony fraud and other charges for lying on her application for food stamps.

Pretty much anytime money is involved some abuse occurs. The level of abuse might be a better question.
For example-want real abuse? Check out the "woman owned small business" stuff that occurs in government contracts. I've seen some horrors there.
IE-Wife owns business, but the business has a open complaint from the husband against it for massive back due wages. If the wife tries to actually take the business, its broken via the wage claim, all assets sold, and husband buys them at auction. Also a nice way to go bankrupt and avoid paying lawsuits off. The end reality is that the wife doesn't own the business, and the actual owner is the guy.
