i just watched the first minute or two of this and it looks like the motorist did everything they could to not comply with the officer. why would she do that?

i do not condone this type of behavior by police but she didn't do her self any favors by resisting like she did. there is a show called "cops" on TV and they are always restraining people (black/white) whenever the person does not comply.

I expect we'll see the DNC playing this over and over while Hillary lectures us about whites and racist cops.

Your thread title is as dishonest as it comes. Shame on you, OP.

She interacted with TWO police officers. One whom she had the physical altercation with, and one who drove her to the jail, whom she freely had a conversation with during the drive in which she ASKED him his thoughts on racism. She didn't care for his answer, ergo he's a bad cop.

She blew past the first cop going 15 mph over, then tried to evade him by pulling into a Wendy's parking lot and quickly getting out of her car and walking toward the restaurant. She then questioned his ability to ticket her once out of her car, then didn't want to get back inside her car, then told him to "hurry up". She instigated a situation that left the officer wondering what her next move would be.

None of that is deserving of the amount of physical force she received, and the police officer could have done a far better job de-escalating the situation. It does however paint YET another picture of a person behaving like an ass when stopped by a police officer, and then feigning total innocence.

Welcome to racist cop Austin, where the black community has been shrinking for good reason, while the city explodes at the seams with rich white liberals.

What could have been a normal routine traffic stop was escalated because of her very angry and confrontational attitude towards the police. Just saw the story on ABC Evening News and naturally they edited the video showing only the take down and a piece of the conversation, but not the whole context. Stir the pot.

101º and the motor off so no air conditioning and he wants her back in the car and the door shut so she won't run? So she won't run.... WOW!! Stereotyping to the max.
People are thrown in jail for locking their kids in a hot car for even a minute.

Now officer Rickter and his accomplice have a death warrant on their heads

Hey, just drive the effing speed limit and you'll outsmart those damn pigs every time!

Or ... break the law, attempt evasion, get mouthy, and refuse to follow directions and see where the day takes you instead. In her case, it took her to jail.
