Even the Denver post is saying that we don't have a recovery right now. Worst recovery since WW2.

U.S. economic recovery weakest since World War II – The Denver Post

Economics 101:

The worst recovery is better than the best recession.

Common sense 101. Better doesn't come into play when the end result is failure.

And let's not forget that in this "aweful" recovery, the Dow is at record levels, we are at virtually full employment, and businesses are hiring (or trying to hire).

Forecasts for a Trump presidency are that we'd go into catastrophic economical decline as he alienates the US from our trading partners, and makes short-sited "deals" that are misinformed by his lack of understanding of just about anything other than crooked deals and using the system to avoid his obligations. That won't work when he is part of the system. I'll take the "slow recovery".
