Look what Obama did for banksters and corporations. He's just a bit right of center. But republicans are so far to the extreme right that to them Obama is a "leftist" when he isn't. Their judgement is skewed.

In the future you'll have to do your own research. I get bored educating The Slow.
Oh really? Explain this then: http://taxfoundation.org/sites/taxfo...ry_nominal.pdf

FWIW - socialism = slavery (part time)
"Pre Socialist" USA (1900) - Government spent 0.9% of the GNP.
"Socialist" USA (2012) - Government spent 44% of the GDP.
(Pharaoh's serfs only paid 20% - one part in five!)

US Per Capita Government Spending for 2016 - Charts
2012 GDP: $15.6 T, U.S. population : 314.1 M, Per Capita : $49665.71

★ Federal spending, per capita : $12,083.0 (percentage of GDP: 24%)
★ State spending, per capita : $ 4,454.10 (percentage of GDP: 9%)
★ Local spending, per capita : $ 5,308.4 (percentage of GDP: 11%)

Where have you been? Dems/lefty elites are the party of pandering to and oppression of the poor and/or under-educated (giving them and promising them ever more free stuff in exchange for votes), while lining the pockets of the banksters and corporations.

Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, etc... who do they vote for? Dems. Plus, there's this:

Federal Government/Wall Street Venn Diagram

And how can you forget Tax Cheat Timmy Geithner? He didn't pay the taxes he signed in acknowledgment that he owed, so Obama made him Secretary of the Treasury and therefore the head of the IRS.

There actually is no negative marginal tax rate, so explain why so many have a negative effective federal income tax rate :

Effective Federal Income Tax Rates By Income Quintile

And the fact that the bottom 40% of income-earning households have a NEGATIVE effective federal income tax rate is still true as of the most recently available data (2014). Liberal think tanks studied the IRS's federal income tax data thinking they'd be able to call out "the rich" for not paying a federal income tax rate at least equal to what the middle class pays. Turns out the truth is exactly the opposite. Note the HUGE drop (10 percentage points) in the effective federal income tax rate between the top 1% and the top >1-5%, and the fact that the bottom 40% actually has a NEGATIVE effective federal income tax rate:

" *Individual income tax rates for the lowest and second lowest quintiles are negative and are netted against the payroll tax rate. A quintile is one fifth of the population."

The 80 million were not killed in the war. Mao executed millions, mostly intellectuals. He also starved millions of farmers and others.

Read about it.
