A day later you did not know why, what would you do?
If you went outside and saw a person leaving their home or office or whatever and they were immediately arrested, what would you do if no information other than "national emergency" was the only information you got?
And no Internet access anywhere.
I'd sneak out to my "alt" location 120 miles away.
They'd have a devil of a time finding me there, those rascals.
This reminds me of the 9/11 people in the upper floors of the South Tower of the World Trade Center who made it down to the lobby only to be told to return to their offices, the problem was in the North Tower. The South Tower collapsed first even though the North Tower was attacked first.
I say go with your gut and do what you have to do.

Why worry? The government does that for me. It's why I pay taxes.
If a shelter in place notice was sent out many people would be busy loading their magazines and gunning up.
In this particular time in American History and the possibility for world wide terrorist strikes how can you blame the gun owners for wanting to hold onto their firearms a bit tighter?
