One reason I respected Bernie Sanders is because he was the only major candidate NOT to grovel on his knees at the AIPAC convention-and of course ironically he was the only major candidate who is Jewish.

Our aid to Israel has only created more unrest in the area and has had a direct negative impact on american safety (think 9/11).
Israel has nukes, they need nothing from the American taxpayer.
And your response did nothing to show a benefit to the taxpayer in Kansas.
If there was a conflict like there was in 1967 (Six Day War) and 1973 (Yom Kippur) where the arabs ganged up against Israel, it would cost every taxpayer in US since we are obligated to defend out allies. It is better to help them defend themselves.

I actually can't find that statement right now, every search results in something about Israel stating it will defend itself against Iran because of the Iran deal they oppose but I know it's been phrased differently in the past. Doesn't mean they're going to turn free $$$ if it's sent to them.

Our country was built on religious tolerance/freedom and I'd much rather spend money protecting OUR people at home, including Israelis that wish to relocate from that Hell on Earth region that may sadly never see peace.
