Read this article. Empathy and willingness to speak to others whom we believe disagree with us is what is failing our nation. Conservative calling liberals names, liberals calling conservative names don't help.

Read what Glenn Beck had to say.

Do you mean this Glenn Beck?

Glenn Beck Films Humiliating Video Of Himself Rubbing Face In Cheetos (VIDEO)

Just goes to show you how far the NY Times has fallen from the days when it could be considered a good source of journalism.

A guy who got rich peddling inflammatory demagoguery is suddenly appalled at the effect that inflammatory demagoguery has on public discourse.

Beck is pissed that Hannity called him and every other member of the Never Trump movement out. I have his show on everyday, not really listening to it, he is a bitter old woman now that Ted Cruz didn't win the nomination. He is losing it

I hate Beck, but I think he's right and also a large part of the problem.

I used to like Beck before he went completely wack-a-doo crazy.

But I read his entire piece, and for the first time in a LONG time, I agree with him 100%.

I am completely sick and tired of the vilification of the other side. No longer content to attack the candidate, but the candidate's supporters are now called every name in the book. It's disgusting and vile.

I truly fear we've allowed this country to be torn to shreds - bad enough where it can never be repaired.

"Conservatives who for 8 years sowed the dragon's teeth of partisan politics are horrified to discover they have grown an actual dragon." Stephen King summed it up well.

Hate radio, Fox news, and the RW politics of conspiracy theories and baseless attacks have indeed created a dragon and there's really no going back.

A big chunk of voters regularly turn out for politicians who are determined to tear down our government. Won't confirm judges. Regularly threaten and occasionally actually do shut down the government if they don't get their way. Vote consistently against health care for all citizens. Want to privatize Social Security. (Doesn't that sound like a dandy scam for the 1%ers to rip us all off?) Constantly try to worm their way into private decisions on birth control and abortions. Oppose civil rights for LGBT and Muslim citizens. ...

They wave around their pocket copies of the Constitution while doing their best to undermine it.

Those folks aren't going to suddenly see the light.

Read what Glenn Beck had to say.

Why doesn't he follow what he preaches?

I posted this article here yesterday but it didn't get much reaction. (Nor did the mod that dumped this here bother to check).

Beck is a part of the problem but he did get this one right.
