Islam is already occupying 50+ countries. I am not saying occupying because Muslims invaded Infidel lands, rather because till today the punishment of apostasy from Islam is death.
America was under no obligation to take in the Jews either. Like I said, Islam is just the flavor of the day ...
Animals are tortured and slaughtered on the streets by amateurs, since a country doesn't have so many butchers for millions of additional animals to be slaughtered.
A bigger sacrifice would be to give up use of a smart phone for a week.
TMK, halal (Islamic food preparation & slaughter of animals) parallels kosher (Jewish food prep). The two cites above mention professional Islamic butchers - but I don't know if the slaughters in homes use professionals, or if the heads of households know the rituals (it's implied that they do, if the slaughter is a normal part of Eid & other food prep throughout the year). Kosher also addresses how to slaughter animals - but the Jewish population in the US is smaller than the Islamic in the Middle East, & the slaughter in the US takes place @ the butchers', with a rabbi in attendance? (Or maybe @ sanctioned slaughterhouses - an interesting question, I've never looked into it. Certainly the blood & pluck aren't cast out into the street for the rain to wash away, in the US.)
In the respective traditions, the knife is supposed to be clean & sharp, the animal is to be killed & bled humanely, & there are other rules to follow. The only real issue I see here is that there are so many observant Islamic families in the Middle East, that if each family slaughters an animal, it's hard to keep up with the waste in a timely fashion. The respective governments or communities will deal with that, whenever they perceive a problem.

It's laughable seeing such feigned outrage over animals from many who have no problem with their own country bombing the crap out of countries that have done nothing to us and killing innocent humans in the process.

If America is going to let in people from all countries and cultures to immigrate here and bring their cultures along with them. Then it is their right to criticize the cultures.

You do realize this incident did not happen in America. People from Bangladesh or any other Muslim do not slaughter animal in their backyard on Eid in a country where they are not allowed to do this. They go to farms and slaughterhouse to fulfill this requirement. This is not an issue in USA and this is not a culture that is being brought to USA. Actually this is not something that happens in more developed Muslim countries because they have rules and regulation. Taking a 3rd world country where laws are rarely enforced & people do as they please is not a good example.
P.S to your older post about people not keeping animal as food in Bangladesh. That is wrong, majority of villages have several cows and goats and chickens in their backyard. They raise them until the animal is big enough to eat.
"Yet, must the nation continue to suffer fear and grief year after year, or can it surmount the tragedy and turn it into a tool of unity? The overwhelming majority of Muslims, including Muslim Americans, condemn violence, extremism and terrorism in all its forms. Why should they continue to bear the burden of guilt by association? Terrorists and extremists hiding under the cloaks of religion don't represent the majority of Muslims, Christians, Jews or any other people of faith. Terrorists are mutations of the religious traditions they claim to represent." Saved by the moon, Muslims won't celebrate Abraham's sacrifice on 9/11 | Dallas Morning News
Most likely because of the roughly 1000 Terrorist organizations in the world 95% are Muslim. Why is that?

Dont recall the Jews flying planes into our buildings while screaming Allah Akbar either.
